Office Hours
In addition to desk critiques in the lab and studio, I am available to discuss your work outside of class. I respond to email pretty quickly (before 8pm) if you have a quick question. Otherwise, see me during the office hours listed below:

Flu Season and Snow-days
For the semester ahead, there is concern that the level and intensity of flu cases could increase substantially.
1) Students and faculty should protect one another by observing social distancing recommendations, including remaining isolated until fever-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication.
2) In the event of a major campus emergency at UMass Dartmouth, course requirements, deadlines, and grading percentages are subject to changes that may be necessitated by a revised semester calendar or other circumstances beyond the instructor’s control.
Work now
It has been my experience that students have a tendancy to present their best work right at the end of a project, when it’s often too late to benefit from additional critique and revision. Somehow folks are “saving it” for (?) the degree project or the portfolio. Now is the time my friends. Leave it all on the field, everytime you show work in a crit. Develop that habit now. Work now. Live in the now. It’s all here…
I look forward to working with you this semester. We will be moving at a pretty fast clip. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions to gain clarity.
